Weekly Law Blog Roundup

By November 5, 2003Uncategorized

Eclectic roundup this week. Stop by and check out the University of Baltimore Law Library Weblog. Then head over to JD2B’s weblog. Note the header information about the survey that gives 3L’s who participate a chance to win $200.

George Lenard has cranked up a nice employment law weblog called George’s Employment Blawg. George is a partner with a a firm in Chesterfield, Missouri and has extensive experience in employment law matters. He also follows legal developments in Illinois.

Speaking of Illinois, Disarranging Mine is a weblog by a former legal secretary in Illinois named Marie. The title of her weblog is from the third verse of one of my favorite Rolling Stones songs, which is one of the few songs that I can actually perform on my acoustic guitar without completely embarrassing myself. Which song? Hint the second verse has this line (“your father’s still perfecting ways of making sealing wax”), which is Marie’s tag line. And speaking of “Marie” have you ever listened to Randy Newman’s song by that name? Well you should.

Okay, back to the legal stuff…

Bookish Gardner is a lawyer and bookworm, and she has a garden in “zone 5” (which I’m guessing is a good thing). Lastly, I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again now: be sure to check out Actual Malice, which is a top notch First Amendment weblog.

If you want to have your legal weblog announced in the Weekly Law Blog Roundup just send me an email with a self-addressed stamped envelope…

P.S. If you're a practicing lawyer, check out this Law Practice Assessment . After answering a few questions, you'll get detailed recommendations for improving five key areas of your practice.
