Valenti out & Tauzin in (as MPAA head)

By October 27, 2003politics

The New York Post is reporting that Louisiana Congressman Billy Tauzin will replace MPAA president Jack Valenti. Tauzin’s representatives are denying that anything definite has been worked out. Valenti himself started out in politics as a close advisor to Lyndon Johnson (in fact Valenti was on Air Force One when Johnson was sworn in as POTUS).

Kevin Webach thinks this is a good thing. And Mary Hodder has some thoughts too.

P.S. If you want a better practice, start using the 80/20 Principle.
