And then after all that…
You’ll be invited to have a 30-minute one-on-one video call with Ernie, during which he will delve more into your current marketing situation and your long-range goals. He’ll also give you a tour of the online course and the Slack group messaging service.

You’ll be able to work through the lessons in the online course at your own pace. There are 18 lessons with 5 videos (total of 73 minutes) and 11 PDF downloads.
About 7 to 10 days before the workshop begins Megan and Ernie will do a 60 minute webinar

The purpose of the webinar is to discuss any questions you have about materials in the online course, or anything else. Plus during the webinar we’ll give an assignment to start working on so that when the workshop starts we can hit the ground running (you’ll find that Megan and Ernie are exceptionally good at helping you accomplish a LOT in very little time).
Here’s what happens at the workshop
We’ll help you craft several important pieces of marketing collateral, including:
- A “magic message,” which is a 120 word summary of what you do and why you’re different than most other lawyers. This will tantalize your ideal prospects and make them eager to hire you (or at least check you out more closely).
- A one or two-page Client-Attracting Lead Generator (aka “Lead Magnet). You’ll have it done by Noon, and you can keep revising it until 5 pm. Then we’ll send it to our designer to spiff up and make it look like the samples you’ll see inside the online course (those “samples” are Lead Magnets done by participants at the last workshop).
- A series of emails that will be used in powerful ways. If you have a website they’ll be an evergreen “ice-breaker” (or rapport builder, if you prefer) that will establish your expertise and demonstrate your unique approach in a way that causes complete strangers to like you and trust you. That’s right, simply by reading two or three emails from you your ideal prospects will like and trust you even before they meet you or speak to you by phone.
- A well-crafted referral marketing system that you can use to get more good referrals from people that already know, like and trust you. Plus we’ll show you how to use social media as a simple, easy, quick “mini-referral system.”
- We’ll give you step-by-step implementation guidance so you can plug your marketing assets into every nook and cranny of your marketing system, including business cards, LinkedIn, Avvo, Google, Facebook, Instagram etc.
- You’ll be given a unique workbook that contains valuable source material you need to (1) better understand how to market your practice in more powerful ways, and (2) help you keep track of your written notes and brainstorming that you’ll be doing. (Value: $50)
- And for two full days, you’ll have one-on-one access to both Megan and Ernie who will give you SPECIFIC actionable recommendations to improve your marketing. (Value: $10,000)
After the workshop ends…
- You’ll continue to have access to the online course forever (Value: $497)
- For 1 month after the event, you’ll continue to have access to the Slack discussion group, and the private channel just for attendees of the workshop. (Value: $75)
- Two weeks after the workshop Megan and Ernie will do another 60-minute webinar to answer any follow-up questions that come up after you return home. (Value: $100)

What’s the total VALUE of this?
The total value of everything you’ll get from the workshop is at least $10,947 (WITHOUT including the value of your marketing assets, the workbook and the food and beverage amenities). First of all, the value of two days with either Ernie or Megan is $5,000 minimum. And you’ll have access to BOTH of them for two full days.

Some Frequently Asked Questions
I’m a trial lawyer, real estate lawyer, transactional lawyer, big city lawyer, country lawyer, [fill in the blank]. Will this workshop benefit me?
The Total Transformation Workshop is for anybody trying to get more good clients. We’ve helped every kind of lawyer with every kind of law practice you can think of, and they’ve all benefited tremendously. The marketing principles, strategies and tactics we’ll give you are applicable to any kind of law practice (in fact they’re applicable to any kind of business, period).
I already have enough work right now, so why should I come?
You might have enough work now, but what about later? And are you getting exactly the kinds of clients you most want to serve? Creating a solid marketing strategy, along with the effective messages that support that strategy, are your insurance against lulls in business and against attracting sub-optimal clients.
What if I don’t have a website?
This workshop focuses on creating your core marketing message without regard to whether you have a website. If you have a website (or plan to get one soon) we’ll show you how to deploy your message and marketing assets with your website. If you don’t have a website we’ll show you how to use the message and assets with an effective referral marketing system.
Where’s the best place to stay when I come for the workshop?

When should I arrive into New Orleans?
The workshop starts at 9 am on Friday, so we recommend arriving on Thursday, the day before. Ideally, you should book your flight into New Orleans on Thursday with enough leeway that if you have flight delays or cancellations you can still make it into New Orleans on Thursday.
What should I bring to the workshop?
You should bring your laptop so you can login to online services where you’ll post some of the assets you’ll be creating (e.g. LinkedIn, Avvo, your website). But most of the work will be done with pen and paper. We’ll supply you with a workbook and paper, so just bring your favorite pen or writing tool.
What kind of clothes should I wear to the workshop?
Casual clothes are best. We want you to feel comfortable and relaxed, so that you can be in your most creative state.
I have special dietary restrictions. Can you accommodate my special food requirements?
Yes. Just let Donna Svenson know what food/dietary restrictions you have and she’ll make sure you are taken care of.
What if I sign up now and then later have to cancel or can't attend the workshop for some reason?
We will refund all of the money that you’ve paid because…well that’s the way it should be, right?
