Becky and I walked around the zoo area, and were impressed by the many AT&T trucks deployed along the Mississippi river. I’m not exaggerating when I say that there must be at least 300 to 400 trucks of various sizes and types, all arrayed in the parking lots along the Mississippi river. It makes me feel good to know that a major corporation has deployed so many assets close to where we are. (Then again, corporations make some bone-headed mistakes too, but we’re trying to feel good here, right?). So, hopefully, that means after Gustav passes they will restore cellphone communications rapidly and I’ll be able to use my iPhone.
