Judge Roland Belsome invited me to co-present with him today at one of the TALL Lectures at Tulane. The official title of the lecture is “Judging in the Millenium,” and the focus of the talk is about legal issues surrounding social networking through sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
Judge Belsome and I have given this talk before (with Dana Douglas and Johnny Denenea). It’s a popular topic these days, as lawyers and judges try to figure out what’s advisable and permissible when it comes to using social media services. I keep a running link of interesting articles on this topic at this link, so feel free to check these out from time to time if you’re interested in these issues.
The lecture today is in the Lavin-Bernick Center (the main student center where the bookstore and food court is). It’s in Room 201, and it takes place from 4:00 pm to 5:15 pm. The lecture is open to Tulane alumni over the age of 50. Click here for more information.
