This Wednesday I'm headed up to Chicago to speak at the ABA Techshow along with Jeff Richardson of iPhoneJD fame. Jeff and I will be on the same flight up, arriving in time to attend the IgniteLaw program. I signed up to speak, but I'm really more excited about hearing the other speakers.
On Thursday I'll be doing a session with Nerino Petro called Developing The Paperless Habit, which will cover practical approaches to scanning, digital file organization, digital workflow, and the elimination of unnecessary printing. Saturday I will do two sessions: one on Advanced Features of Adobe Acrobat (with Catherine Sanders Reach), followed by a panel presentation of 60 Sites in 60 Minutes.
I look forward to meeting up with many old friends, and making new ones as well. TechShow is the premier conference for lawyers who want to learn about using technology in their law practice. The vast number of programs offered pretty much tells the whole story. Hopefully, I'll see some of you there!
P.S. If you're a practicing lawyer, check out this Law Practice Assessment . After answering a few questions, you'll get detailed recommendations for improving five key areas of your practice.
