New Paperback about Law School and Associate Life

By September 13, 2004Uncategorized

My friend Alex Wellen has written a fascinating account of the transition from law school to practice: Barman. If you are a law student, or if you are hoping to go to law school, then I strongly suggest you read this book. First, you’ll enjoy it because it is well written and engaging. Second, it will give you a sober view of what life is like for many law students and young associates at large firms.

In fact I will give away a copy of his paperback to the first person who can E-mail me and tell me what the significance of ping pong is in his book. This is a test of your research abilities; you obviously don’t have to read the book to figure this out.

P.S. If you want a practice optimized for remote work & virtual collaboration, get this 24-page guide.
