New Orleans CLE seminars: Practical tips for digital lawyering

Dane Ciolino and I will be putting on our annual end-of-the year CLE program on “Digital Lawyering.” Basically, “digital lawyering” means using technology in practical ways to make your law practice easier and more effective.

This year we are doing two programs, back-to-back. On Wednesday, December 29th we'll do a 6 hour program covering the following topics: Email management; PDF tips; Practical E-discovery; Cloud computing (practical and ethical issues); Social media issues for lawyers; General tech tips for lawyers who use computers. Included in the 6 hours of CLE credit are 1 hour of Ethics, 1 hour of Professionalism, and 3 hours of Law Office Practice credit. If you need a downloadable brochure right click here.

Besides Dane and I, speakers will include several other knowledgeable attorneys, including Jeff Richardson, A.J. Krouse, Tom O'Connor, and Al Robert. Additionally, Rebecca Diamante will help provide tech guidance to attendees.

The half-day program on Thursday December 30th will cover advanced PDF tips such as creating and using digital signatures, mobile lawyering, advanced digital case management, cloud computing and synching (click here for downloadable brochure). There is no ethics or professionalism credit for the half-day seminar.

To sign up for either one (or both) of these two seminars click here.
