I’ve inspired canine blogging

By March 29, 2006web-tech

Well after success in getting several friends to start blogging, it appears that I’ve now managed to inspire Riot, a French bulldog, to start a weblog.  I’ll tell you right now, and I don’t mind saying it: Riot is a much better writer than I am.  Of course, this is no doubt due to the influence of his "peopet," Consti.

I can’t wait to get more observations from Riot, and I’m sure others will feel the same way; I see a seven figure book deal in this young pup’s future.

P.S. If you appreciate these kinds of observations, you might want to read this as well.

  • “9/11 to cost NYC as much as $95 billion” (https://www.usatoday.com/news/sept11/2002-09-04-attacks-new-york-costs_x.htm)

I don’t think this article turned out to be quite true, but it did hurt NYC for a while and there is still a pit where there towers stood. My question is how much will Katrina cost New Orleans and Louisiana and will it ever recover?

    Katrina was our 9/11https://www.newyorkmetro.com/news/articles/wtc/1year/numbers.htm

Think about it… the number of uninsured losses in New Orleans are staggering as well as the number of small bussinesses it has put out of bussinsess or will put out. The region had more than 250,000 people apply for unemployment. The New Orleans area is though to have lost more than 120,000 small businesses. This is going to have a deep impact for many years to come on the economy. While I am pessimistic, I am also hopeful for New Orleans. I know it is not NYC, but I hope good people can steward the recovery process.

  • Glad to see i’m not the only person who had this idea.I was thinking of setting up a Dlog (Dog blog) for my Little Emma, but i don’t know if she has time to make posts, what between scratching eating and chasing tennis balls down my hallway.Oh yeah and burying bones in the loungeroom with the invisible dirt that apparently covers my lounge.
