Google Maps for Katrina

By September 4, 2005katrina

Google Maps is a useful thing in the storm aftermath.  You can find your neighborhood and see your house from the satellite then choose the red "Katrina" button and see what your  house/neighborhood looked like after the storm.   Choose Satellite photos of New Orleans at the right.  Then navigate on the map to your neighborhood.  If you choose the "Hybrid" button you can see the street names.  When you get above your house choose the "Katrina" button and see what it looks like after the storm.
