Wired magazine recently profiled the 7 Coolest Startups You Haven’t Heard of Yet. I’m intrigued by CakeHealth, but my provider (Coventry) isn’t compatible yet. The U.S. health care industry is almost a decade behind where it should be.
P.S. If you want a practice optimized for remote work & virtual collaboration, get this 24-page guide.
That's an interesting concept. It's hard to believe that someone hasn't fixed the health insurance problem yet, but I guess there's an entire industry and infrastructure to destroy before you'd be able to really solve the problem. Is it still possible to use even if your insurance provider doesn't support it? (You could enter information manually, though it wouldn't be able to detect/report on billing errors, I suppose.)
Wonder if this is something that could be useful for those without health insurance (like me, as of recently). Helping set up health savings plans, providing information about costs at various medical centers, etc.
The TextTo concept is interesting, as well. Will be curious to see how both of these develop. Thanks for sharing!
