ABA Tech Show 2014

By March 25, 2014November 7th, 2020legal technology

The ABA Techshow is a great place to meet interesting small firm lawyers, and also the folks who help us figure out how to make use of technology as opposed being frustrated by it.

Today, I’m catching a train to head to Chicago for this year’s ABA tech show (officially designated as ABA TECHSHOW). Pictures don’t do justice to how much fun TechShow is, and besides the fun there is everything else.

Two and a half days filled with:

  • Outstanding speakers who can explain legal technology well
  • Practical topics for lawyers, and legal professionals
  • An Expo Hall where you can easily learn about software and tools that are useful to lawyers
  • Special dinners and receptions, to ensure you get meet new folks and talk to speakers and vendors

Maybe you aren’t going this year. Well, I’ve got a tip: if you use Twitter follow the hashtag #ABATECHSHOW to get a small taste of the excitement experienced by attendees.

But next year, come to Chicago and get the full taste. Or maybe you can still slip away to attend this year.

If you are attending this year, please find me and say hello. The best part of TechShow for me is meeting all the interesting new people. Jeff Richardson agrees, as he explains in this one minute video.

P.S. If you're a practicing lawyer, check out this Law Practice Assessment . After answering a few questions, you'll get detailed recommendations for improving five key areas of your practice.
